MILLBURY – Addie Mae (Brantigan) Carlson, 88, died Monday, July 1, 2013 in Beaumont Rehabilitation Nursing Center in Northbridge.
Her husband, Harold A. Carlson died in 1992. She leaves two sons, Richard A. Carlson and his wife Linda and Joel J. Carlson and his partner, Sally Sampson all of Millbury; five grandchildren, Tracy Charbonneau of Millbury, Kristen Vigliotti of Worcester, Megan, Jared, and Rachel Carlson all of Millbury; six great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, George and Ethel (Walton) Brantigan.
Mrs. Carlson was employed by US Envelope Co. and Anderson Products for many years, before she retired. She was a former volunteer at the Millbury Senior Center. She loved the beach, Foxwoods, gardening and most of all, spending time with her family
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 3rd in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury.
Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 2nd in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Fund of the Beaumont Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 85 Beaumont Dr., Northbridge, MA 01534 or a charity of choice.
