MANCHAUG - Agnes I. (Murphy) Roberts, 83, formerly of Tucker Lane, died Friday, May 30th in the Millbury Health Care Center.
Her husband Franklyn W. Roberts died in 1982. She leaves two daughters, Sandra A. Johnson of Worcester and Kathleen M. Roberts of Leicester; a brother, John Murphy of Mendon; eight grandchildren, Sheila Perralta, Susan and Shelley Donovan, Stephanie Zeena, Stephan Trudell, Sharron Davis, Shannon Trudell and Kelly Isom; seven great-grandchildren, Kayla, Richie, Brandon, Brianna, Zachary, Benjamin and Tyler; nephews and nieces. She was born in Milford and is predeceased by her parents, Francis A. and Beatrice (Evers) Murphy and a son, Thomas F. Roberts and a brother William Murphy.
Agnes worked for Crew Associates and Unilect Company for many years and also delivered Meals on Wheels in Sutton before she retired.
Her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3rd in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery in Sutton. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 2nd in funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Fund of Millbury Health Care Center, 312 Millbury Ave., Millbury, MA 01527.
