MILLBURY - Albert G. 'Bib'Gagliardi, 90, of 125 Main St., died Saturday, Nov. 17, in St. Vincent Hospital, at the Worccester Medical Center, Worcester.
His wife, Genevieve M. (Panczyk) Gagliardi died last year. He leaves a son, Leonard F. Gagliardi of Millbury; two daughters, Antoinette M. Harmon and Rose A. Fresolo both of Millbury; a brother, Alfred Gagliardi of Millbury; a sister, Rose DeSantis of Millbury; seven grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Millbury, son of Leonardo and Grazia (DeMatteo) Gagliardi and has lived here all his life. He attended Millbury Schools.
Mr. Gagliardi worked at the former Felters Company for 46 years, retiring in 1976. He was a Navy veteran during WW II serving in the Asiatic-Pacific and the American Theaters. He was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church, a past commander and life member of the Charles F. Minney Veteran of Foreign Wars Post, a member of the Devoe-Taylor American Legion Post and a member of the Knights of Columbus, in Grafton.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, Nov. 20 from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19 at the funeral home.
Members of the Charles F. Minney Post and the Devoe-Taylor Post will conduct a ritual at 8 p.m. Monday, at the calling hours.
