GRAFTON – Albert P. Gasco, 81, of South Grafton, died Thursday, July 1st in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
His wife, Joan (Finn) Gasco died in 2000. He leaves a son, Joseph F. Gasco of Lake Hiawatha, NJ; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, James Gasco of Rutland, Vermont and John L. Gasco of West Palm Beach, FL and his loving companion of 10 years, Phyllis Simpson. He was born in Millbury and is predeceased by his parents, Felix and Mildred (Hazelwood) Gasco and two brothers, Felix, and Robert Gasco and a sister, Sarah Murphy.
Mr. Gasco was a mechanical engineer in New Jersey. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a life-long member of the Elks.
A Memorial Mass will be held will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 9th in St. James Church 89 Main St. in South Grafton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rose Monahan Home in care of VNA Care Network, Inc. Development Office 120 Thomas Street Worcester, MA 01608-1280.
