MILLBURY - Albert Earle Madsen, 89, of 111 Park Hill Ave., Millbury
died from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Florida which also took the life of his long time companion, Iris Cross.
Mr. Madsen was born on June 18, 1917 in St. Stephen, NB
Canada to Albert and Kathryn (Baxter) Madsen. He immigrated to the US as a
young man and because of his entrepreneurial spirit, owned and operated
many different businesses throughout his lifetime. Reliable Sealer being one
he continued until his death.
His wife of 52 years, Sylvia (Goodine) Madsen died in 1992. Albert leaves behind five children, a son, Richard of Northborough, four daughters, Carol Madsen of Somerville, Bonnie Reynolds of Venice, FL, Theresa Wassell of Sutton and Patricia Madsen-Moforte
of Santiago, Chile; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A brother, Walter Madsen from Largo, FL and two sisters, Rhoda Dickenson and
Doris Matheson of St. Stephen, NB Canada and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Madsen was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Madsen of Florida.
Memorial calling hours will be held from 11 to 1 p.m. Saturday, December 9th at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street, Millbury, MA. A celebration of his life will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date.
