MILLBURY – Albert R. Marrino Jr., 73, died Sunday, Jan 18th in his home, after an illness.
He leaves his wife. Mary Lou (Anderson) Marrino; three children, Luanne M. Marrino-Persson and her husband, Jon of Barnstable, Michelle Holland and her husband Bill of North Andover and Heidi Angela Brown and her husband, Eric of Colorado; two sisters, Constance Jollette of Worcester and Alberta Kowalczyk of Bristol, CT; a brother, Robert Marrino of Florida; three grandchildren, Lauren, Justin and Skyler; nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, son of Albert R. Marrino, Sr. and Congetta (Lombardi) Marrino.
Albert owned the former Geiger's North Worcester Market in Worcester for 20 years. He then worked at Digital Corp. and Hebert's, before he retired. He was a member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard before he entered the U.S. Navy as a radio man, during the Korean conflict.
His funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 23nd from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 22nd in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital P.O. Box 50 Memphis, TN 38101.
