Albin A. Belinskas, 86, formerly of Millbury, died Wednesday, January 8, 2014 in his daughter's home after being stricken ill.
Albin's wife, Claire L. (Giard) Belinskas died in 1987. Albin leaves a daughter, Carol A. Anderson and her husband, Paul of Grafton; a son, Alan A. Belinskas of Grafton; three grandsons, Shaun P. Anderson of Spencer, Scott A. Anderson of Worcester and Jeffrey P. Anderson of Grafton; two great grandsons, Shayne P. and Collin M. Anderson both of Spencer; a niece and many nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Eva (Meskinis) Belinskas, a brother, Stanley Belinskas, Jr. and a sister, Anna Belinskas.
Albin worked as a machinist for Norton Company in Worcester for 37 years. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Albin enjoyed weekends at Dennisport on Cape Cod, woodworking, watching Legion baseball games and most of all spending time with his grandsons.
Albin's calling hours will be held on Sunday, Jan. 12th from 1 to 4 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury.
His Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Jan. 13th at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton Street in Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester.
