Albina R. (White) Loader Riani, 92, died peacefully Saturday, May 19, 2012 in the Christopher House in Worcester.
Albina leaves three daughters, Beverly Olsen of Putnam, CT, Violet Hurtubise of Troy, NH and Sandra R. Casale of Littleton, MA; five sons, Dennis Riani and Roger Riani both of Millbury, Ronald Loader of Spencer, Joseph Loader of Northborough and Alfred Loader of Millbury; 27 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Riani, who died in 1984; her parents, Napoleon and Albina (Gaudette) White; a daughter, Debra Powers, who died in 2008; three brothers, Napoleon, William and Joseph White.
Albina was an avid crocheter completing over 100 afghans to share with family and friends. She loved taking cruises, and until recently, playing the slot machines. She loved shopping and going out to eat, especially Chinese Food. Her family was everything to her and she was happiest surrounded by the lot of them laughing and telling stories and jokes.
Albina's funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 24th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will follow the funeral service at St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23rd in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
