Aldona Karsok

MILLBURY – Aldona R. (Dubickas) Karsok, 87, of 95 Elm St., died Sunday, Feb. 3rd in her home, after being stricken ill.

Her husband, Stanley P. Karsok died in 1976. She leaves a son, Robert S. Karsok of Millbury; two grandchildren, Daniel R. Karsok of Worcester and Jessica wife of Shawn Froment of Sutton; two nieces, Gerry wife of Paul Cody of Oxford and Frances wife James K. Tufts III of Millbury; three nephews, Charles Karsok of Holden, Kenneth Karsok of West Boylston and William Karsok of Douglas. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Simon and Rose (Krutulis) Dubickas, two brothers, Walter Dubickas of Chicago and George Dubickas of Millbury.

Aldona was a bookkeeper at Salmon Brother Resturant Equipment Co. and then at Harvey and Tracy Engineering Co., both in Worcester before she retired. She was a member of St. Brigid's Church and was a member of church's choir for over 50 years a a Vice President, Secretary and member of the former St. Brigid's Women's Club. She was a member and Clerk of Board of Directors of the Millbury Council on Aging and volunteered many hours at the Millbury Senior Center.


Her funeral will be held Friday, Feb. 8th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid's Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. Brigid's Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7th in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Brigid's Church Debt Reduction Fund, 59 Main St., Millbury, MA 0527 or to the Friends of the Millbury Seniors, 1 River St., Millbury, MA 01527.
