Alfred W. Nelson, 76, died Saturday, September 7, 2013 in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
Al leaves his wife of 55 years, Takeko (Nogi) Nelson; two sons, Paul Nelson and his wife, Linda of Tennessee and David Nelson and his wife Patricia of Sandwich; a daughter, Sandra M. Gaspie and her husband, Thomas of Auburn; four grandchildren, Andrea, Melissa, Heidi and Thomas; two great grandchildren, Anthony and Abigail; three sisters, Madeline Willette of Millbury, Joan Carter of FL and Elizabeth Koerber of MI; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a sister, Gladys Alaire.
He enjoyed fishing, going to Florida in the winter and going to the casinos. He traveled all 50 states with his loving wife. He served in the Marines and was proud of our country. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Graveside services will be private at the family's convenience.
