SUTTON – Algird J. "Mike" Siska, 87, died Sunday, Dec. 20th at St. Vincent Hospital in
Worcester.
He leaves his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Dorothy L. Siska of Sutton; a son, Robert D. Siska and his wife, Joan of Sutton; a granddaughter, Katie Siska of CT; two nieces, Grace Deboer of Sutton and Kathy LaDoux of ME. Algird was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Matthew and Mary Siska; a son, William Shaw; two brothers, Benjamin and Albert Siska.
He was a member of the 200 Sportsmen Club in Webster, where he enjoyed cookouts and clambakes. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, gardening, working on the farm and being at home. He worked for Victoria Dairy in Worcester for many years. Mike raised pheasant, quail, rabbits, sheep, chickens and pigs.
A graveside service will be held Monday, Dec. 28th at Noon in the old section of Howard Cemetery, on Armsby Road in Sutton. There are no calling hours. Mulhane Home for Funerals in Millbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
