MILLBURY – Alice B. (Roberts) Gosselin, 94, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 22nd after a brief illness.
Her husband, Germain A. Gosselin died in 1998. She leaves a son with whom she lived, Phil Gosselin and his wife Linda of Northbridge; two grandchildren, Marcia Perron and her husband Chris of Millbury and Jennifer Paige and her husband Brian of Wellesley; a sister, Elizabeth Teske of Dalton and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Thomas W. and Mary (White) Roberts and three brothers, Franklin, Leonard and Norman Roberts.
Alice was a waitress at the Ideal Lunch in Millbury for more than 30 years and worked at Crewe Associates of Millbury for 12 years. She was a member of the Massachusetts Women's Corps during WW II, working at Whitin Machine Works as an assembler and inspector. Alice attended Liberty Church in Shrewsbury. More than anything, Alice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staffs at UMass Hospital - University Campus, Whitney Place Adult Day Health, and Home Staff for all their outstanding care and support.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 29th at 11 a.m. in the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be St. Brigid Cemetery, Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 28th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the New England Dream Center, 5 Chestnut St., Worcester, MA 01609.
