Millbury - Alice R. Spatol, 69, of Millbury, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007 in her sonTM)s home in Webster, after a short illness.
She leaves four children, Tina Scott and her husband Tony of Lander, WY, Deborah A. Riedle of Spencer, Todd J. and his wife, Jodi Spatol of Marmora, NJ and Scott Spatol and his companion Sharon OTM)Brien of Webster; two brothers, Dale and Danny Menard of Pensacola, FL; five sisters, JoAnn Givens, Jean Menard and Susan Waldrop all of Pensacola, FL, Connie Dee of Worcester and Stella Williams of California; six grandchildren, Kandi LeBlanc and her husband Joseph of Millbury, Kevin Scott of Lander, WY, Zachary and Daniel Spatol both of Marmora, NJ, Felicia and Hayley OTM)Brien of Webster; two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Dylan LeBlanc of Millbury; nephews and nieces. She was born in Roanoke, VA and is predeceased by her parents, Alfred J. Menard Sr. and Albina (Kline) Menard, two brothers, Alfred Menard Jr. and Larry Menard.
Alice moved to Millbury in 1983 from New Jersey. She worked for the Parker Co. in Worcester, for 7 years and then for Polyclad Inc. in Millbury. Alice loved fishing and crabbing, football games, playing cards and bingo. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Her funeral Mass will be held Friday, Oct. 12th at 11 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be private and there are no calling hours. Mulhane Home for Funerals, Millbury is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Overlook Hospice, 88 Masonic Home Rd, Charlton, MA 01507.
