SUTTON - Andre G. Peladeau, 71, of 34 Douglas Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, in St. Vincent Hospital, at the Worcester Medical center, Worcester, after a long illness.
His wife, Doris M. (Gaulin) Peladeau, died in 1994. He leaves a daughter, Donna L. Salo of Millbury; two brothers, Edmond Peladeau and George Peladeau both of Sutton; his long time companion, Carol Spagnuolo of South Yarmouth; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. He was born in Montreal, Canada, son of George J. B. and Doris H. (Crepel) Peladeau and has lived in Sutton most of his life.
Mr. Peladeau was a draftsman for George Meyer Company in West Boylston for many years. He then worked at other companies among which were Morgan Construction Co. in Worcester and Advanced Technology Design in Sutton, before he retired. He was a Army veteran during the Korean War.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sutton, the Olive Branch Lodge of Masons in Millbury, the Scotish Rite Bodies in Boston, the Worcester County Shrine Club, the Shriners Aleppo Temple in Wilmington, and the Tri-State Trail Riders Association. He was an avid fly fisherman and motor cycle enthusiast .
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Oct.in First Baptist Church of Sutton, 659 Central Turnpike. Burial will be in West Sutton Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, (
