MILLBURY- Ann Marie (Lindholm) Dinsdale, a Child of God, was stricken in her home in Millbury on Friday evening, December 28th, and died shortly after. Ann is the daughter of the late Eric and Anna Lindholm. Although Ann was plagued with various medical ailments for over a decade, she rarely complained and often made light of her problems.
She is survived by her best friend and husband, Robert I. Dinsdale. They would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on December 30th. She also leaves two daughters, Linda Mahota, wife of Kenneth Mahota of Oxford and Karen Magnant of Millbury; two grandsons, Kyle Mahota of Oxford and Michael Magnant of Millbury, who were the lights of her life. She also leaves behind her sister, whom she loved dearly, Sharon Lindholm of Millbury, as well as her cousins, Marian Erickson of Millbury, who was like a second sister, Carol Prager of Holden and Patricia Walsh of Arizona; also several cousins in Sweden. She is predeceased by her cousins Ruth Foster and Donald Olson both of Worcester.
One of the accomplishments she was most proud of was being a Curved Bar Girl Scout. Ann graduated from the former High School of Commerce in 1955. She was employed by St. Vincent Hospital Radiological Associates for about 20 years before she retired. She is a charter member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, was a former member of the Alter Guild, as well as a youth advisor for the High League during the 1970TM)s. Ann enjoyed bus trips, cruises, reading, and spending time with her family. She is loved by many and will be missed by each of them.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3rd in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster St. in Worcester. Burial will be in West Millbury Cemetery, West Millbury. Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2nd in Mulhane Home for Funeral, 45 Main St. in Millbury.
