MILLBURY – Ann E. (Kukmanowski) Drudis, 93, died Friday, April 22nd in the Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, after a short illness.
Her husband of 52 years, Bernard C. Drudis Sr. died in 1997. She leaves her son, Bernard C. Drudis Jr. and his wife Joan of Sutton; her daughter, Diane E. Mosakowski of Shrewsbury; four grandchildren, Kelly and Timothy Drudis and Lauren and Thomas Mosakowski; nephews and nieces. She is predeceased by her brothers, Alexander and Anthony Kukmanowski and a sister, Veronica White. She was born October 7, 1917, in Worcester, daughter of Adam and Agnes (Lakavich) Kukmanowski and moved to Millbury in 1945.
Mrs. Drudis graduated from the former Commerce High School in Worcester and worked as a secretary for the City of Worcester Welfare Department for many years. She was a member of St. Brigid Church in Millbury and a former member of the Millbury Women's Club and the AARP Worcester Seven Hills Chapter. Ann was also active at the Millbury Senior Center.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, April 26th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home, prior to the Funeral Mass. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery in Millbury.
