MILLBURY - Annie B. ( Sacovitch) Daw, 84, formerly of Manor Rd., died Thursday, March 7, in Providence House Nursing Home.
Her husband, Clifford H. Daw Sr. died in 1943. She leaves two daughters, Kathaleen Gifford of Scottsdale, Arizona and Janice 'Chickee' Resseguie of Boylston; a son, Clifford H. Daw Jr. of Dublin, Calf.; a sister, Mary Toscano of Moraga, Calif.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Peabody, daughter of Jacob and Anna ( ) Sacovitch and lived in Worcester before moving to Millbury 1967. She graduated from the former Commerce High School in Worcester.
Mrs. Daw worked at Paul Revere Life Insurance Company in Worcester for 24 years, retiring in 1979. She volunteered for 19 years at the Millbury Council on Aging and was a former member of the Board of Directors. She was also a former recording secretary for the Friends of the Millbury Seniors.
She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church and a charter member of the American Business WomanTM)s Association in Worcester. She loved crafts and baking.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 11, in Mulhane Home for Funerals, ( www.mulhane.com ) 45 Main St. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Fund of the Providence House Nursing Home, 29 Main St., Millbury, Ma. 01527.
