MILLBURY - Anthony F. Konisky, 91, of 390 Greenwood Street, died Sunday, Nov. 17, in Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation for Millbury.
He leaves his wife of 13 years, Grace H. (DiReda) Konisky. His first wife, Janet E. (Browning) Konisky died in 1984. He leaves, a son, Michael A. Konisky of Millbury; a daughter, Cheryl Lominsky of Fairfield, Ct.; a brother, Raymond Konisky of Worcester; three sisters, Mary Konisky of Auburn, Margaret Beaudry of Stamford, Ct. and Dorothy Moule of Tampa, Fl.; four grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A sister, Sr. Helen Konisky and two brothers, Joseph Konisky and Edward Konisky predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Anthony and Alexandria () Konisky and lived in Millbury most of his life. He graduated from Millbury High School.
Mr. Konisky and his brother Raymond owned-operated Greenwood Dairy since 1938, retiring in 1984. He also founded and operated Hunthurst Kennels, where he bred and trained hunting dogs and produced many field champions.
He was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church and was an avid outdoorsman and businessman. He was an active member of the Southern Mass Bird Dog Club, the Eastern Mass. Beagle Club, the Central Mass Beagle Club and the Singletary Rod & Gun Club.
The funeral will be held Thursday, Nov. 21 from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., (

) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigids Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are 2 to 4 ane 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20 in the funeral home.
