Anton "Tony" J. Yablonicky Jr., 70, died peacefully Wednesday, August 7, 2013 after a lengthy illness in Fort Pierce, FL, where he was living with his wife. Mr. Yablonicky was born in Bayonne, NJ and resided for most of his life in Sutton.

Mr. Yablonicky leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Elizabeth (O'Toole) Yablonicky; his daughter Joan (Yablonicky) LaPlante and her husband Scott of Sutton; two grandchildren Emma E. and Joseph S. LaPlante, two sisters, Joanne Barker of Verona, NJ and Mary Joan Yablonicky of Bayonne, NJ., a loving sister in law Joan Dalpe and her husband Donald of Baldwinsville, NY and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Yablonicky served his country for 28 years with the United States Navy where he obtained the rank of Chief Petty Officer. Tony graduated from Worcester State College with a bachelor's degree. During his service, he was assigned to the commissioning of the USS John F. Kennedy. He was also employed with US Soldiers Command System in Natick for 30 years before retiring and moving to Florida.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 13th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, 356 Boston Rd. in Sutton. Burial will be in Howard Cemetery in Sutton.

Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 12th in the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the National Navy UDT/Seal Museum, 3300 North Highway A1A, Fort Pierce, FL 34949.
