MILLBURY – Aquilina “Aggie” (Pescheta) Boire, 98, passed away on Sunday, June 3rd at Care One in Millbury, with her devoted granddaughter Jen by her side.
She is survived by her only son, Michael Boire and his wife, Marie Boire of Millbury, where she has made her home for 23 years. Also her two granddaughters, Jennifer Flamand and her husband, (Jon) and also Kristen Dana and her husband, (Joe) both of Millbury. She also leaves 4 great-grandchildren, Hanna, Olivia, Lauren and Nolan of Millbury. They were truly the apple of her eye. Also left behind are very dear nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and two cousins. Not to mention her countless friends.
Born in Millbury, she was the daughter of Italian immigrants Michael & Angela (Mucciaccio) Pescheta and was very proud of her Italian heritqage. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Leo Boire; her sisters, Anna Ekasala, Carolina Pescheta, Rita Caron, Rosanna Tabor and Grace O’Leary and her brother Leonard (Mike) Pescheta.
Aggie was a very active 98 year old. Spending a great deal of time at the Millbury Senior Center as a volunteer, playing cards, bingo and any activity that was available. Winning awards for her dedication to helping others. In her earlier years, she worked at the Millbury Credit Union, retiring several times, but found she missed the interaction with customers. She also worked at the old "Flying Saucer" Car hop back in the 1960's and the A & P Market. Aggie was truly a people person.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Care One in Millbury and the VNA of Worcester. Also the hospice Compassionate Care, for all their love and support during this most difficult time.
