MILLBURY- Arlene E. (Horne) Cooper, 85, of 12 Hayward Lane, died Thursday, May 15, in Radius HealthCare Center of Millbury.
Her husband, George A. Cooper died in 1975. She leaves two step-daughters, Jean A. Bortone of Arlington and Deborah Pearson of Quincy. A sister Bulla Horne predeceased her. She was born in Ossipee, New Hampshire, daughter of Harry and Elizabeth (Snow) Horne and lived in Waltham before moving to Millbury in 1970.
Mrs. Cooper worked for the former Tek Bearing Company in Auburn for 20 years, retiring in 1992.
A private graveside service will be held in Chickville Cemetery, Ossipee, New Hampshire. There are no calling hours. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, ( www.mulhane.com ) is in charge of the arrangements.
