MILLBURY – Arline M. (White) Wilder, 74, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 15th surrounded by her loving family at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston after a courageous battle with a bone marrow illness.
Arline was born in Worcester and was the daughter of the late Harold and Eva (Pepino) White. Arline graduated from Worcester Girls Trade High School and worked at several different companies through-out her life.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 55 years, Roger; her four loving children, Lorna Wilder, Heidi Wilder of Millbury, Pennie Losanno and her husband, Victor of Holliston, and Gina Wilder of Douglas. She leaves her loving grandchildren, Brett Wilder (US Navy, Norfolk, VA), Brittany and Miranda Williams, Jamie and Christopher Losanno; two sisters, Virginia Bowness of North Brookfield and Linda Loiselle of Dudley. Arline was predeceased by her brother, David White, her grandson Shane Wilder, her nephew Todd Bowness, a sister-in-law Ebba Wilder and a brother-in-law Paul Loiselle. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.
Arline was most proud of her loving and devoted family and especially her grandchildren whom she adored. Arline will be forever missed by her family.
Arline's family would like to thank the devoted staff of Dana Farber Cancer Institute, in Boston with a special thank you to Dr. Gabriela Motyckova, Dr. Richard Stone and mom's nurse, Melissa Houston along with the doctors and nurses from Brigham and Women's Hospital for their compassion and dedication in treating Arline.
Arline's funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Arline to support the Leukemia Fund at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place - West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445.
