SHREWSBURY – Armand E. Audette, 62, died Wednesday, April 25th at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester with his children and family by his side.
He leaves three children, Emily Morais and her husband, Michael of Hopedale, Hilary Audette and her companion, Carl Petion of Sutton and Gregory Audette of Sutton; six grandchildren, Mikayla and Caleb Morais, Karley and Kenzie Petion, Ryley and Talon Audette; his former wife, Geraldine; two sisters, Claire Weiss of Worcester and Susanne Graves of Worcester; three brothers, Laurence Audette and his wife, Sharon of Auburn, Leonard Audette and his companion, Lynn Kuefler of Auburn and Richard Audette and his wife, Margarita of Carver; six step-brothers and step-sisters; nephews and nieces; his companion, Joni McMahon of Millbury. He was born in Worcester and is predeceased by his parents, Armand G. and Jeannette M. (Pepin) Audette and his step mother, Claire M. Audette.
Armand was a machinist at Wyman Gordon Company in Grafton. He was a former Eagle Scout, an avid outdoors man, a member of Uxbridge Rod and Gun Club, a life member of the National Rifle Association and the Grafton Bird Club. Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
Family and friends will honor and remember Armand’s life by gathering for calling hours 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday May 2nd followed by his funeral service at 7:30 p.m. all in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N.
