MILLBURY – Armand J. Bouley, 83, passed away Friday, Sept. 7th in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Armand leaves his wife of 63 years, Janet F. (Dolan) Bouley; four children, Michael T. Bouley and his wife, Holly, Stephen Armand Bouley, Susan M. McDonald all of Millbury and Judith A. Read and her husband, Angus Gilbert of North Grafton; eight grandchildren, Robert, and William McDonald, Stacey Bouley, Paul, and Alex Bouley, Amanda, and Allison Read, and Zoe Slaw; three great grandchildren; four sisters, Gladys Urbsis, Lauretta Carlson, Noella Amyot and Eve Weitze all of Arizona; many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Adolphus and Cecelia (Sawyer) Bouley; five siblings, Dorothy, Gertrude, Wilfrid, Robert and Norma.
Armand was a member of the Teamsters Local 170 and worked for J.J. Nissen Baking Company in Worcester for over 35 years. He then worked for Xtra Mart until he retired in 2017. Armand served six years in the Army National Guard. He attended St. John’s High School in Worcester. He was a devoted lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Church in Worcester, where he was an alter server, sang in the choir, and was an Eucharistic minister. Armand was a member of the Millbury Senior Center, Anytime Fitness Gym, and a lifelong member of Weight Watchers. He enjoyed gardening, bird watching, singing, playing the piano, traveling, classic movies, reading and learning new technology. Armand will always be remembered for having a song and music for every occasion.
Armand’s family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the entire staff at St. Vincent Hospital for the excellent care he received.
Family and friends will honor and remember Armand’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Tuesday Sept. 11th from 5 to 8 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
His funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, Sept. 12th at 10 a.m. in St. Josephs Church, 35 Hamilton Street in Worcester. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery, Millbury.
