MILLBURY Arthur L. Warren, 86, of 12 Highland Ave., formerly of Dorothy Rd., died Friday, March 19th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus, Worcester
He leaves his wife Elaine (Hicks) Warren; a son, Dennis A. Warren and his wife Doris of Auburn; a brother, James Warren of Florida; one grandchild; one great-grandchild. nephews and nieces. His first wife, Albina (Mickalonis) Warren died in 1976. Two brothers, John and Kenneth Warren and a sister, Mary Stackhouse also predeceased him. He was born in Milford, son of Lewis and Elizabeth (Lehane) Warren.
Mr. Warren was a machinist and had worked at the Rice Barton Co., Eli Sandman Co. and Snider Beef Co., before he retired. He was a Merchant Marine and a Navy veteran during WW II, serving in the Mediterranean and the Atlantic. He was a former member of the Devoe-Taylor American Legion Post and the Charles F. Minney V.F.W. Post.
His funeral will be held Monday, March 22nd from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 21st, in the funeral home. Veterans will meet at 7 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home for a prayer service.
