SUTTON Arthur R. "Wizzar" White, 77, of 48 Griggs Rd., formerly of Millbury, died Friday, Oct. 15th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
He leaves his wife, Lois Jean (Marsh) White; three daughters, Marsha L. wife of William W. Fox Jr. of Sutton, JoAnn C. wife of Curt R. Rudge and Nancy J. wife of Paul F. Auclair both of Millbury; seven grandchildren, Derek W. Rudge, Matthew W. Fox and his girl friend Michele L. Tardiff, Allison M. wife of Randoul Altidor, Milissa J. wife of Daniel D. Obara, Brianne L. wife of Paul M. Dauderis, Noah T. Auclair and Olivia G. Auclair; one great-grandchild, Taylor M. Dauderis; two step-grandchildren, William P. Auclair and Michael C. Auclair; one step great-grandchild, Isabella S. Auclair; a sister-in-law, Eva White of Millbury; nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Howard White. He was born in Millbury, son of Albert and Laura (Stone) White. He graduated from Millbury High School in 1945.
Mr. White was a truck driver for DeFalco Concrete Corp. and Mobil Oil Company for many years. He also owned and operated WhiteTM)s Mobil Station in Millbury for several years. He was a Navy veteran serving during WW II and the Korean War.
He was a member of the Charles F. Minney Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Millbury
His funeral will be held Tuesday, Oct.19th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18th, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 20 Walnut St., Suite 318 Wellesley Hills, MA 02481.
