SHREWSBURY Barbara A. (Robinson) Gilmond, 83, of 16 Vista Drive, died Tuesday, Sept. 6th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester.
She leaves her husband, Harry F. Gilmond; two sons, Lawrence C. Gilmond of Millbury and Mark P. Gilmond of Princeton; a sister, Dorothy McCormick of West Boylston; three grandchildren, Michael R. Healy of Auburn, Shane P. Healy of Worcester and Scott R. Gilmond of Millbury; four great-grandchildren. A son, James E. Gilmond predeceased her. She was born in Oxford, daughter of George and Gladys E. (Molloy) Robinson.
Mrs. Gilmond was a bank teller for Worcester County National Bank and Shawmut Bank both in Worcester, for over 20 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Auxiliary of the Ray Stone American Legion Post and the WomenTM)s Sewing Group, both in Shrewsbury.
BarbaraTM)s funeral will be held Friday, Sept. 9th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8th, in the funeral home.
