Barbara Herzog, 89, formerly of New York, died peacefully on March 26, 2016 at Holy Trinity Nursing Home in Worcester. She was born to the late Martin and Maria Weinstader in Mor, Hungary.
Barbara was a seamstress by trade and eventually elected to pursue her LPN license while a resident of New York. Barbara thoroughly enjoyed listening and dancing to her favorite Hungarian Gypsy music. Most of all she enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.
She is survived by her only child and loving son, Frank Herzog and his wife, Roxana, and her two wonderful grandchildren, Ariana and Michael all of Millbury. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last illness. Donations may be made to the Holy Trinity Nursing Home.
Barbara's calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 30th from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury. Her funeral service will follow the calling hours at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
