MILLBURY Barbara F. (Strom) LaFlash, 82, of 20E Rhodes St., died Wednesday, May 25th in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a long battle with AlzheimerTM)s.
Her husband, Frederick I. LaFlash died in 1985. She leaves two sons, Walter F. LaFlash and Louis J. LaFlash both of Millbury; five grandchildren, Sandra La Flash, Kim Gogonis, Robyn Zmayefski, Carrie Gunstrom and Robert Berkiel Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren. She was born in Milford, daughter of Walter J. and Gerogianna (Lee) Strom.
Mrs. LaFlash worked at David Clark Co. in Worcester for many years, retiring in 1995.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, May 31st from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury. Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery, Millbury. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Care Network, Inc. Development Office, 120 Thomas St, Worcester, Ma. 01608 or to the Elder Service of Worcester, 411 Chandler St., Worcester, MA 01602. Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. is assisting the family with arrangements.
