MILLBURY- Barbara L.(James) Wayne, 72, of 860 La Vina Lane, Altadena California, formerly of Millbury, Auburn, Webster, and Dudley died March 21, in Royal Palm Transitional Care Center, Glendale, Ca., after a short illness.
Her husband, Joseph Wayne died in 1977. She leaves two sons, Joseph Wayne Jr. and John Ryan both of Altadena Ca. with whom she lived; a daughter, Karen Morales of Worcester; a brother, Arthur "Kenny" James of Millbury; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was born in Millbury, daughter of Arthur and Evelyn M. (LaCrosse) James and has lived in California four years. She attended Millbury Schools.
Mrs. Wayne owned and operated BarbaraTM)s Delicatessen in Millbury, in the mid 1960TM)s.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday April 7, in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 10 Waters St.. Burial will be in Central Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cancer Society Stop Smoking Campaign, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701.
