SUTTON Beatrice M. (Kupcinskas) Knapik, 90, died Wednesday, Aug. 18th at her daughterTM)s home in Douglas.

Her husband, Stanley J. Knapik died in 1981. She leaves a son, Richard S. Knapik Sr. and his companion, Susan Fredette of Warner, N.H.; a daughter, Joan M. wife of Kevin McGauley of Douglas; four grandchildren, Richard S. Knapik Jr. of Plainville, Ct., April Lauer of Chandler, Arizona, Brian J. McGauley and Sean P. McGauley of Douglas; a brother, Albert Kupcinskas of Millbury and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Peter and Margaret (Karsokas) Kupcinskas.

Mrs. Knapik was owner and proprietor of Sugar Craft Novelties and Designer Molds for many years. She also taught cake decorating throughout the valley. She was a graduate of the class of 1933 of Millbury High School. She celebrated her 90th birthday with her family and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Her funeral will be held Monday Aug. 23rd from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. BrigidTM)s Church, 59 Main St., Millbury Burial will be in St. BrigidTM)s Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22nd, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the UMASS Memorial Hospice Assoc. 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, Mass. 01605.
