GRAFTON Bernice L. (Smith) Yoder, 68, of 115 Main St., South Grafton, died Tuesday, Nov. 9th surrounded by her loving family, in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus, Worcester.
Her husband, John B. Yoder died in 1990. She leaves two daughters, Kimberly A. wife of John F. Ruguleiski III of Rutland and Robin B. wife of Cesar Colon of South Grafton; a brother, Paul R. Smith and his wife Sandra of Treasure Island, Florida; three sisters, Elizabeth F. wife of Richard R. Kane of China, Maine, Marcia A. Doherty of Worcester and Shirley E. wife of William Gangnon of Worcester; a granddaughter, Lindsay Ruguleiski; and many loved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her step-father, Dr. Henry Caradonna of Worcester and a brother, Donald H. Smith Jr. of Grafton. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Donald H. Smith and Elizabeth F. (Andrews) Smith Caradonna.
She was employed in the disabilities office at Quinsigmond Community College in Worcester, for the past several years.
She was a member of St. JohnTM)s Episcopal Church and was one of the original organizers of their food pantry. She enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and gardening.
Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 13th in St. JohnTM)s Episcopal Church, 3 Pleasant St., Sutton. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Grafton. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., (Rt. 122A) Millbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Cupboard at St. JohnTM)s Episcopal Church, 3 Pleasant St., Sutton, MA 01590.
