Beth A. Wall, 62, of North Grafton, MA died on March 26, 2022 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester after a 3 year battle with appendiceal cancer. She leaves her husband, Brennan Wall of North Grafton, MA, her mother Carol McLaughlin of Orange, CT, her brother Paul McLaughlin and his wife Karen of Pleasant Valley, NY, her brother Timothy McLaughlin of Myrtle Beach, SC, her sister Kateri Gillis and her husband Joseph of Branford, CT and her brother Sean McLaughlin and his wife Marisol of Branford, CT and six nieces and nephews.
Beth was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and the Harvard University School of Public Health. She was a nurse who transitioned to a highly respected career in health economics for various medical device manufacturers including Dupont in Billerica, MA, EMD Serono in Rockland, MA, Sepracor in Northborough, MA, Abiomed in Beverly, MA and most recently, Olympus in Southborough, MA.
She and her husband of 23 years developed a passion for riding a tandem bicycle together. Over the years this hobby caused them to develop an extensive network of tandem bicycle friends and it allowed them to experience many bicycle related travel adventures throughout the United States and to destinations in Europe that included Scotland, Portugal and The Netherlands. They also participated in regional tandem bicycle rallies where everyone came to know and love Beth.
Beth was a devoted wife, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She will always be remembered for her eternal optimism. She cared deeply for her family and her many friends, and she always relished the opportunities for dinner parties and gatherings. It was often said that Beth lit up the room with her smile and her sweet, sincere personality.
Christmas was always a special time of year for Beth and her extensive collection of ornaments always required two Christmas trees to permit them all to be displayed.
Beth’s wake will be held at the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 North Main Street, Millbury, MA on Wednesday March 30th from 5 to 8 p.m.
Her Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday March 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. in Worcester. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury.
The family wishes to thank the doctors, Physician Assistants and nurses at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, the doctors and nurses at Milford Regional Hospital in Milford, and the nurses at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester.
