Bettejane "BJ" (Frohock) Allen, 70 Millbury, died Saturday, Feb. 8th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, David J. Allen; two children, Cheryl A. Allen & Craig M. Allen, both of Millbury; a brother, John Frohock and his wife, Carol of Worcester, a sister, Karyn and her husband Dave Pariseau of North Fort Myers, FL, a sister-in-law, Jeanne Frohock of Worcester and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Frank & Betty (Tompkins) Frohock and her brother, Robert Frohock.
Bettejane was employed by The Fair in Worcester until it's closure. Her current position was at Bloomer's Florist in Worcester. Bette was a lifelong bowler and an avid BINGO player. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends whether it was dinner, movies or watching the Red Sox. She also enjoyed traveling including trips to Disney, riding "It's a Small World", trips to LasVegas, bus trips with Foxy Travel, as well as her yearly trip to Florida to visit her Aunt Jackie Tompkins.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 12th at 7 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. A calling hour will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the funeral service, in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or the Friends of the Millbury Seniors 1 River Street, Millbury, MA 01527
