Betty Kennen

Betty M. (Johnson) Kennen, 87, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 2nd in St. Camillus Health Center in Whitinsville.

Betty's husband, Roy E. Kennen passed away in 1986. She leaves four daughters, Sharon A. Audette and her husband, Laurence of Auburn, Nancy M. Mathieu of Millbury, Shirley E. Palazini and her husband, John of Arizona and Eileen Snyder of Northbridge; a son, Earl R. Kennen of Worcester; nine grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchild; a sister, Lois J. Jacobson and her husband, Chester of Shrewsbury; many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, Oscar and Marion (Sladdin) Johnson and a son-in-law, John Snyder.

Betty reside in Auburn with her husband Roy who preceded her before moving to Florida, then returning to Sutton to be closer to her family. Betty was as avid reader who enjoyed playing bingo, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very kind, loving, and giving woman.

Betty's calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 9th from 10 to 11 a.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.

Her funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.
