Beverly Bricault

October 20, 1939 — June 5, 2013

Beverly A. (Renaud) Bricault, 73, loving wife, mother and grandmother, died Wednesday June 5, 2013, surrounded by her family.

She was the beloved wife of Raymond J. Bricault Sr., his mate whom he cherished and fell in love with after being discharged from the US Army in 1958. From the first day they met, after three weeks of dating, got engaged, married two months later and were to be the happiest fifty five years of their lives together. Her husband often referred to her as my "little Chickadee". Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Raymond J. Bricault Jr. and his wife, Janet of West Boylston and JP Bricault Sr. and his wife, Judy of CT; a daughter, Laurie A. Kochanowski and her husband, Dean of West Boylston; eight grandchildren, Sarah, Nathan, JP Jr., Kody, Kayla, Cheyanne, Daniel, and Brian, whom she adored, doted upon and enjoyed spending quality time with them; a sister, Theresa "Cherry" Dansereau and her husband Bob of Worcester; a brother, James and his wife, Mary of Leicester. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Leah (Marsden) Renaud, five brothers, Charles, Alfred, Robert, Roy and Joseph and two sisters, Virginia and Donna.

Beverly attended Worcester and Grafton public schools and worked many years in the shoe industry, before becoming a full time stay at home mother, raising their children. She and her husband enjoyed many vacations to Myrtle Beach as well as trips to Hawaii and Bermuda. She was a devoted and active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and a former member of the church choir, the church shawl ministry, greeter at the Sunday Masses and was a former very active member of the church's St. Vincent DePaul Society. She will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity, had an upbeat spirit and was always there for anyone who needed her help. The Bricault family would like to thank the VNA Care Network and Hospice for their kind and compassionate care and a special thank you to Maura.

Beverly's funeral will be held Monday, June 10th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. in Worcester. Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Millbury.

Calling hours are 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 9th in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. in Worcester, MA 01604.
