Brenda E. (Henry) Hoye, 56, passed away Friday August 7th in her home surrounded by her loving family after a brave battle with ALS.
Brenda leaves her husband of 35 years, William A. Hoye, Jr.; three daughters, Jessica Flaherty and her husband, Sean, of Millbury, Kaytlin Morris and her husband, Brian, of Millbury and Bethany Rice and her husband, Stephen, of Shrewsbury; six grandchildren, Emma, Blake, Grace, Patrick, Peyten and Aran; her father, Arthur Henry of Uxbridge; three sisters, Charlene Lachapelle of Whitinsville, Nancy Palubinskas of Oxford and Joyce Garrow of Illinois; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She is predeceased by her mother, Ruth J. (Reynolds) Henry.
Brenda was a secretary at the Schofield Elementary School in Wellesley prior to her retirement in 2014. She loved to spend time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Brenda always enjoyed life to the fullest and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She always had a smile on her face.
Brenda's Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 15th at 1:00 p.m. at the Faith Baptist Church, 22 Faith Avenue, Auburn. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private. Flowers can be sent directly to Faith Baptist Church for the memorial service.
A memorial fund will be set up in Brenda's memory to benefit the Schofield Elementary School in Wellesley. Donations can be directed to the Brenda Hoye ALS Fund c/o Fidelity Cooperative Bank, 16 South Main Street Millbury 01527.
