MILLBURY

MILLBURY – Bridget E. Tower, 65, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 18th with her loving family by her side, after a 4-year courageous battle with cancer.

Bridget leaves her husband of 48 years, William Tower, a daughter Julie Convery and her husband Daniel of Dudley, a son Nicholas Tower and his wife Jamie, of Millbury, and a granddaughter Kaitlin Tower of Westborough. She also leaves a brother Scot Hamilton and his wife Tina, a sister Bonnie Hagan and husband John, a sister Bettie Hamilton, many brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, and nephews. Bridget was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Betty Hamilton of Millbury.

Bridget graduated from Millbury High School. She worked in accounts payable for the Catholic Dioceses of Worcester. Bridget enjoyed going to the beach in Wells, Maine, reading, crocheting, and sewing. She also enjoyed attending bootcamp and yoga classes with her sisters. Her favorite activities were spending time with family especially her beloved granddaughter, Kaitlin.

Family and friends are invited to remember and celebrate Bridget’s life by gathering for her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 26th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury. Burial will be private. Those who plan on attending the Mass are asked to go directly to the church.
