SUTTON Carl J. Eilert, 96, of 140 Glen Echo Shore Rd, Charlton, formerly Dodge Hill Rd., Sutton, died Tuesday, March 16th, in St. Vincent hospital, Worcester.
His wife, Mary (Nelson) Eilert died in 1962. He leaves a son, William Eilert of Charlton; a sister, Genevieve Hall of Providence, R.I.; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nephew and nieces. He was born in Providence, R.I., son of William and Anna Eilert.
Mr. Eilert was a foreman at WW Windle Mills in Millbury, where he worked for 40 years, retiring many years ago. He was an Army veteran during WW II.
His funeral will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 19th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., Millbury. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Grafton.
