Carol V. (Osper) Gervais, 71, passed away Wednesday, May 24th with her children by her side in UMASS Memorial Medical Center.
Carol leaves two daughters, Jessica L. Gervais and her longtime companion, Neal R. Cameron of Nantucket and Jennifer I. Gervais of Millbury; a step son, Robert G. Gervais, Jr. of Worcester; her sister, Susan H. Ryan and her husband, Paul of Millbury; two brothers, George P. Osper and his wife, Sharyn of CA and Stephen V. Osper and his wife, Donna of Grafton; fourteen nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert G. Gervais and her nephew, Bryan Osper.
Carol was born in Worcester, daughter of Victor and Helen (Valentine) Osper. She graduated in 1964 from the former St. Stephen's High School in Worcester. She was a member of Lithuanian War Veterans Drum Corp and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Worcester. Carol worked for many years as a waitress at Paul's Center Bakery in Millbury. She loved the daily interaction with all the customers and people of Millbury. Carol loved to laugh and brought so much joy to everyone she met.
Carol's calling hours will be held on Saturday, June 3rd from 2 to 5 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
Her funeral service will follow the calling hours at 5 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to UMASS Memorial Medical Center-University Campus c/o Spiritual and Pastoral Service, 55 Lave Ave, Worcester MA 01655.
