Cecile Z. (Lanoue) Dobson, 90, passed away Sunday, August 2nd at St. Vincent Hospital after being stricken ill.
Cecile's husband of 53 years, James A. Dobson died in 2007. She leaves two daughters, Debra A. Zukauskas and her husband, David of Worcester and Sharon Shillinsky and her husband, John of Southbridge; a son, Brian Dobson and his wife, Kim of Bucksport, ME; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Cecile enjoyed playing bingo and reading. Most of all Cecile loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Cecile's funeral will be held on Saturday, August 8th with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton Street in Worcester. Her calling hours will be held prior to the Mass from 9 to 10:15 a.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main Street in Millbury. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK, 73123.
