MILLBURY Celina F. "Sally" (Bonczyk) Blake, 97, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Wednesday, July 13th at UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
Her husband, William P. Blake died in 1992. She leaves, a daughter, Patricia C. Belliveau and her husband, Daniel of Shrewsbury; a son William C. Blake and his wife, Jane of Lunenburg and Seattle Washington; two grandchildren, Ada and Christian Belliveau; four brothers, Pete, Bonczyk, Edward Bonczyk and his wife Pat and Frank Bonczyk and his wife, "Ditty" all of Worcester and Henry Bonczyk and his long time companion Ursula Clauges of PA; two sister-in-laws, Dot Bonczyk of Westborough and Shirley Geissler of Huston, TX; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Ted Bonczyk and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Blake.
Mrs. Blake was a member of the Millbury WomenTM)s Club and the Salisbury Singers in Worcester. Sally loved to read and travel and truly appreciated all forms of music and the arts. The light of her life was her two grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at UMASS Memorial Medical Center Cardiac Unit, for their professional and compassionate care given to their mother during her brief stay.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, July 16th from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday July 15th in the funeral home. Burial will be private in St. JohnTM)s Cemetery in Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Massachusetts Audubon Society, Broad Meadow Brook, 414 Massasoit Rd. Worcester, MA 01604 or to the Worcester County Mechanics Association (Mechanics Hall), 321 Main St., Worcester, MA 01608.
