Charles R. Hatfield, Jr. 61, passed away Tuesday, October 3rd in UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester following a long illness.
Chuck leaves four sisters, Valerie Hatfield and Erin Hatfield of Rehoboth, Bon Hatfield of Seekonk, and Tina Hatfield and her husband Patrick McGinnis of Jenkintown, PA. He is predeceased by his parents, Charles R. Hatfield, M.D. and Bettina (Gleason) Hatfield.
Chuck was born in Harrisburg, PA but spent most of his life in Massachusetts. He loved spending time with his family and meeting new people. He was outgoing and everyone he met was charmed by him. He loved animals and relaxing outdoors. Chuck was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Chuck’s funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Chuck’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society.
