JACKSONVILLE, FL Charmian Roxanne (Fisher) Ewell, 67, died June 7, 2005, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born in Worcester on February 7, 1938, the daughter of the late Roscoe D. Fisher Sr. and the late Lois Woodward Briel Fisher. She was a graduate of Sutton High School in 1955 and attended Clark University before marrying and moving to Philadelphia in 1957. She moved to Florida with her family in 1961, where she was a member of and employed by the Jacksonville Art Museum, for many years.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Tullius, Sharon Ewell, Dara Fish (Bob) and Stephanie Vickers (David); her grandchildren, Emily, Kate, David, John and Grayson; her sister, Cynthia Lois Fisher of Massachusetts; her brother, R. Danforth Fisher (Nina) of Fair Haven, N.J. and her maternal uncle and aunt, Karl and Dorothy Briel of Worcester, MA.
Friends and neighbors are invited to attend a graveside service at 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 9th at Howard Cemetery, Armsby Road, Sutton, MA. A memorial service was held on Friday June 17, 2005 at All Saints Episcopal Church, Jacksonville, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to WolfsonTM)s ChildrenTM)s Hospital, Baptist Health Foundation, 836 Prudential Drive, #1205, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
