After high school Chris moved to San Diego where he met his former wife, Susan and they began the start of their family. They made many memories as a family in San Diego before moving back to Millbury in 2005. Chris was excited to be able to show his boy's his roots where he was raised, and passing on all the fun adventures he had as a boy. Besides his son's, Chris' greatest accomplishment was joining the Millbury Fire Department in 2008, fulfilling his childhood dream. Chris' son Brian also joined the Millbury Fire Department, and they were both assigned to Station 3 in East Millbury. Chris was the number one fan of his son Joshua and his bands, always front and center at every show.
As a father and a fire fighter, the one thing he loved was the ability to help others and always put others before himself. He was the type of man who could strike up a conversation with anyone, and make you laugh. He enjoyed life to the fullest, which he in turn passed onto his son's to follow and they will proudly carry for the rest of their lives.
Christopher's calling hours will be held on Friday, March 18th from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. His funeral service will follow calling hours at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19th in Central Cemetery in Millbury.
