MILLBURY - Christopher Scott Gobron, 49, passed away after a courageous three-year battle with esophageal cancer on June 11, 2022 with his family by his side.
Chris was born in Natick, MA, the son of Charles and Laura (Hayes) Gobron. He was a graduate of Natick High School and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He received an MBA from Bentley University in Waltham in 2003. Chris enjoyed a successful career in financial management where he was recognized for his dedication, his kindness, and his extraordinary personality. His greatest accomplishment, however, was the unconditional love he bestowed on his family who will forever cherish his amazing spirit.
In addition to his parents, he leaves his devoted wife of over 21 years, Kerry Allen Gobron, as well as three daughters, Riley, Meredith, and Berkeley Gobron, each of whom held a special place in his heart. Chris is also survived by his sister Deborah Gobron Collins and her husband Darren of Tyngsborough and their two children as well as his mother-in-law and father-in-law Ronald and Donna Allen of Shrewsbury, his sister-in-law Debra Dezutter and her husband James and their two children, and his brother-in- law Ronald Allen and his wife Jeanne and their two children. He also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss his infectious smile and wonderful sense of humor.
Family and friends are invited to remember Chris’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Thursday, June 16th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street in Millbury.
His Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, June 17th at 11 a.m. in the First Congregation Church of Shrewsbury, 19 Church Road. Burial will be private.
All those who will be attending the Celebration of Life are asked to go directly to the church .
