MILLBURY - Claire R. (Magnan) Fountaine, 63, of 41 Alpine St. and Northport, Florida, died Saturday, May 10, in St. Vincent Hospital, at the Worcester Medical Center, Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 39 years, Ernest L. Fountaine Jr.; two daughters, Lynne M. Plante of Sutton and Sheryl A. Barry of Shrewsbury; a son, Mark E. Fountaine of Worcester; her mother, Viola (Benoit) Magnan of Millbury; a sister, Joanne Dziuba of Northport, Florida; seven grandchildren; a nephew and two nieces. She was born in Worcester, daughter of George Magnan and has lived in Millbury for 35 years. She graduated from St. PeterTM)s High School in Worcester.
Mrs. Fountaine was a payroll supervisor at the former Proteon Company, in Westboro for four years. Previously she worked at Chabot Motors.
She was a member of St. BrigidTM)s Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending her winters in Florida.
The funeral will be held Wednesday, May 14, from Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St., ( www.mulhane.com ) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Brigids Church, 59 Main St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, in the funeral home.
