Clara Graves

MILLBURY – Clara A. (Bleau) Graves, 98, died Saturday Jan. 1st in the Sandalwood Care & Rehabilitation Center in Oxford.

Her husband, Edward J. Graves died in 1970. She leaves four daughters, Joyce M. Stockwell and her husband, Richard of Oxford, Clara M. Fogarty of East Hartford, CT, Carol L. O'Brien of Garden City, SC and Nancy E. Trombley and her husband, Bernard of Garden City, SC; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester and is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Clara (Bartel) Bleau; a grandson, a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter.

Clara enjoyed going to the Millbury Senior Center with her friends. Some of her hobbies included sewing, making rag dolls and playing cards and board games. She was a member of the Millbury Council on Aging.

Clara's funeral will be held Thursday, Jan. 6th from the Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury, with a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Brigid Church, 59 Main St. in Millbury. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. in the funeral home, prior to the Funeral Mass. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Mass Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
