MILLBURY – Clarence J. White, 94, died Friday, Sept. 10th in the Life Care Center in Auburn.
His wife of 67 years, Edna M. (Adamski) White died in 2008. He leaves three children, Jean R. Moore and her husband Robert, Elaine C. LaCrosse and Ernest S. White and his wife Anne all of Millbury; five grandchildren, Diane Matson and her husband Jeffrey of Grafton, Elaine Austin and her husband Thomas of Millbury, Kevin Moore of Millbury, Jason White and his wife Erin of Montclair, NJ and Rachel Muse and her husband William of Salem; 5 great grandsons, Matthew, Joshua, Jeffrey, Aaron and Asher; a brother, Roger White and his wife Marietta of Millbury and a sister, Anna Wenc of Indiana; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. White worked at the Felters Company and AK Machine Company for many years. He was a WW II Army veteran and was a former POW during the war in Germany. Clarence was a recipient of the Purple Heart.
Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Monday Sept. 13th in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 Main St. in Millbury. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Attn. Gift Processing, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
