Colleen Gibson

MILLBURY – Colleen A. Gibson, 80, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 12th in Care One of Millbury.

Colleen leaves her children, Bonnie Anne Collette of Wales and Scott Moss of Millbury; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Maureen Montague and her husband, Paul of Grafton and Margaret Froggatt of Millbury; a brother, Patrick Gibson and his wife, Maureen of Millbury; nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her parents, William and Margaret Gibson and a sister, Kathleen Gibson.

Colleen was a warm and caring person, who enjoyed gardening and sewing. She loved music, her church and faith, baking and most of all her dog, Red.  Colleen was the best mother and grandmother.  She worked at S & D Spinning in Millbury for many years and was an assistant librarian for the Millbury Middle School.

Family and friends are invited to remember Colleen’s life by gathering for a time of visitation on Sunday, July 16th from 2 to 4 p.m. in Mulhane Home for Funerals, 45 N. Main Street, Millbury.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 17th in St. Brigid Church, 59 N. Main Street, Millbury.  Burial will follow in St. Brigid Cemetery, Millbury.
